THE LOODIES - EDGY GROUND (ALBUM REVIEW)

Much of Edgy Ground has a happy, summer feel to it thanks to an acoustic guitar, an up-beat tempo, and dreamy vocals. But I was pleasantly surprised by how the tone slowly changed throughout the album, moving to one that was more introspective and moody. Songs like “The Juggler” are full of life and pure, happy energy, but if these dark fall days are affecting your moods, check out songs like “Coline” and ”Ligneous Plant” (fun fact! Ligneous means made, consisting of, or resembling wood). Whether the sun is shining or raindrops are dancing on your windows, Edgy Ground will have a song for you.
